Im just kidding. But I do understand your point of view. I was never one to make excuses for myself or anything whenever I lost in a game, so whenever the lakers lose, I don't like blaming on one, but all.
The difference between me and most laker fans is that I was supporting this "revolution" of getting a completely new system with a new style of basketball. I was sick of seeing the triangle. I couldn't stand how slow the system was, and I couldn't stand Phil relaxing after the opposing teams would catch up from 20 behind within a matter of minutes lol.
The point is, I don't think only one style of play wins. I think the players win the championship because it depends on their hustle, on their contributions, their sweat, and on occasion, their blood. I hope you see my POV even if you don't necessarily agree.
Style??? I don't care what style we play, I just want to have any plan or strategy that makes sense. In AAU ball you change strategy, make adjustments constantly, there are times we switch offenses and defenses 5-6 times in 1 game as needed.
Blaming 1 is valid at times but is usually kiddie like. If a guy misses 20 free throws and gets a technical with 3 seconds left and the team loses by 1, sure, you don't want to blame 1 guy in the face of the team you are coaching....but the honest reality is that the guy lost the game. Now if a coach blows it in every regard, you have to blame him.
