He's a decent but not great shot blocker. He fouls entirely too much and he shows way too far on pick n rolls. Add that to the fact that he's inept at creating anything for himself offensively, he is poor from the free throw line and he gets untimely technical fouls.
We're not so different, you and I...

Chicago Bulls Rumors
‏@chicagobullsbot
New York Knicks seem favorites to land Kenyon Martin due to Melo/JR Smith past history and the Knicks likely to give him the most minutes

Its amazing how we go from the likes of Billy Walker, Shawne Williams, & Anthony Carter as our "bench depth" to now having the best bench in the NBA with the addition of K-Mart.

Anybody got any good nicknames for our bench?

Best Bench in the NBA?
#1 Kenyon isn't here yet
#2 Even if we get him, we don't have the best bench in basketball. The Spurs, Pacers, Heat, 76ers, Warriors, Nuggets, Clippers all have better benches than us.

The Knicks bench was better than the Heat bench, the other teams' benches I can live with saying they were better. The heat's bench was Battier and jones, moments with cole.

Johnny Flynn is a FA. I honestly think that won't be a bad acquisition considering our depth/skillset at the PG position. We have two aging PG's(Kidd+Pog) and a lazy PG who's constantly out of shape. Flynn is fast and his speed will be a good change of pace compared to the other guys but he's a terrible shooter which means he probably won't mesh with Melo and Amare and he's pretty much a bust at this point.

I think it's a low risk high reward type of signing.
