Yeah that would be a great idea, but they wont take amare for Bargnani. Maybe they'd take chandler, shumpert, and Felton for Bargnani and Calderon though.

I do like where you're heads at though

Amare for hedo turkoglu, al Harrington, vucevic

Ok so maybe he isn't tradable

Chandler for Ryan Anderson and Jason smith

I wouldnt do that trade if I were the Knicks. We'd be out of our starting PG and SG. I like Calderon but that's not an even trade IMO. Bargnani isn't a guaranteed upgrade over Stat so it doesn't offset the fact that we lose Felton and one of the best young perimeter defenders in the league. Notto mention, we're making that trade within the division.

Calderon would be a great fit at pg for these Knicks- IMO better than Felton. And Bargnani is not only guaranteed to be an upgrade over amare he is THE Perfect fit skill wise next to Carmelo. The perfect #2.

The big loss in that trade is shumpert - but if you see him as a 2 and not a 1 than it would be worth it to get Bargnani.

By horrible do you mean close to realistic and all to compliment your best players talents?

Would you prefer

Carmelo and jr smith
For
Eric Gordon + rivers + Aminu + 2 1sts

Why are you looking to put either Melo or Amare in any trade? Neither one will be traded any time soon. The only one that could get moved is Amar'e, but that would only be to make room for a superstar like Chris Paul.

No offense dude, but damn near every trade you propose has Bargnani in it. Andrea can play but I'm not that eager to bring him hear. And I'm damn sure not trading Melo for no Eric Gordon, who was injured damn near all of last year and is still banged up and no bum ass Al-Farouq Aminu who Melo DESTROYED in the Olympics lol

Amar'e is getting a second opinion on his knee from the Phoenix Suns doctor that originally operated on him. He's expected to be out a month now.

Just trade him. He's always injured when we need him the most and to be fair the team has actually looked better without him. If not better than at least the same.

Get a solid PF and a shooter for him and we're good. Of course if anyone wants to take his contract.

Trade him for what? We would get 50 cents on the dollar for him. A healthy Amar'e is a legit superstar. Unfortunately he can't stay healthy anymore. When you look at the huge list of injuries our team has sustained, you have to start to question our medical staff.

How can you blame the medical staff for preexisting condition?

This is the same knee he had microfracture on, that got bumped by a teammate in practice.

BTW, amare got his right kneee operated on in the same year because the vaunted phx medical staff allowed him to overcompensate.

The point is though......all teams have injuries.

But normally teams don't guarantee deals with already known issues.
