Default Arron Afflalo trying to defend Kobe has caused him to struggle on the offensive end.

Keep in mind this is a player that averaged 15 PPG on 47% shooting during the regular season.

First Round vs LA.
Game 1: 9 Points. 3-11 shooting
Game 2: 11 Points. 4-12 shooting
Game 3: 10 Points. 3-9 shooting
Game 4: 6 Points. 3-7 shooting

He hasn't been a factor on the offensive end in all 4 games.

I'm not sure if that was the reason but I'm more than positive it was the reason why Ray Allen was bad outside of that Game 2 in the 2010 NBA Finals. Ray Allen was gassed from defending Kobe in that series and he had a pretty poor Game 7 if I recall correctly.

Ummmmm affalo is not that great of an offensive threat to begin with anyway.its called playoff basketball.it seperates the boys from the men.to be honest the whole nuggets team is struggling.lawson aint been playing well this series like he did in regular season.gallinari has all the potential to be the next turkoglu but like 10 times better!he been struggling.andre miller been the most reliable player.

This. He's a defensive specialist.

I don't think that was the reason. Here's a quote from Ainge relating to that series.
Quote:
Ray Allen got hurt, had a very severe thigh bruise that nobody really talked about in the NBA finals after he had a spectacular game early, in the third game. He had a severe thigh bruise; his legs looked about two inches bigger and all black and blue.

Affalo missed 6 shot in game 3

1. Conner 19ft - Kobe contested

2. Top of key 16ft - Gasol contested [not guard by Kobe]

3. Elbow 3pts - Wide open

4. Reserve layup - Gasol blocked [not guard by Kobe]

5. Running hook shot - Gasol contested [not guard by Kobe]

6. Lay up - Guard and blocked by Ebank

Kobe force missed shot 1 out of 6 missed.

I think you're missing the point. It's because Afflalo is forced to work so hard on the defensive end that he has nothing left when it comes to offense.

this is a lie.. and it proved you dont know shit about Afflalo

After the All-Star break (a pretty good sample size):

18ppg, 3.5reb, 3.1ast

50% from the field
43% from behind the arc
83% from the FT line

those #'s at the same time as being a defensive specialist as you say make him one of the best SG's in the entire league

I agree. Afflalo is deceivingly the best player on the Nuggets. Will never be a #1 guy, but he'll kill you on both ends of the court, definitely someone you'll want on a winning team.

I've wanted Afflalo on the Bulls for forever..

On topic, yeah that's kinda obvious.
