Default Suns ink Piatkowski to 2 year deal

Well, at least they agreed with him on a deal in principle anyways.

Stupid signing. I really doubt this guy has two years left in him, for a year he will help them out because of his long range shooting. But two years is pointless, especially if they're going to need all the cash they can get to resign two of their top guys next summer.

I expect him to get quite a few outside looks playing for the Suns. 2 years for 2.4 million dollars is what I believe the amount was as reported on ESPN.

I don't get it, they give away their draft picks to save money and then sign this guy.

Maciej Lampe is coming back to the Suns as well, he will be on their summer league roster and is expected to make the team overall. I guess Sarver sure loves his Poles no?

Basically, Phoenix traded away Marcus Williams and Sergio Rodriguez so that they could sign Piatkowski and Lampe? That is good management for your a$$ right there!

Pretty stupid move. We need a back up PG and another big man. Why sign a shooter with Jones and Barbosa already coming off the bench

HAHA what a big signing! Just kidding but Pike is a very good shooter. If he's open, he'll hit them. But that is all he could do, no defense at all. Fits right in with all the other Suns players.

That is going to be hard to pull off considering the fact that Lampe is under contract with Houston right now.

What the crap? How are they similar at all, aside from being basketall players and guys who can shoot?

How are they different? Two small forwards lurking at the three point line and not doing much else.

Piatkowski would make a couple jumpers every other game last year. He bought nothing else to the table. Bad defense, questionable shot selection at times. Bulls won't miss at all. Adrian Griffin for the vet min. wouldn't be a bad signing to replace him.
