Default Indiana Pacers

let's give credit to Larry Bird and crew. After they let Carlisle go and removed the cancer that were O'Neal, Tinsley, Artest, and others ... the Pacers were able to build a solid team based on good signings and solid draft picks. They have a good coach (Vogel), a young nucleus, and look to be on a successful track for a couple of years. Congratulations to the Pacers!

i really like the indiana pacers. they play as a cohessive unit and everyone there wants to win. i see them as like the baby bulls. i was surprised they lost the first game to orlando.

i was surprised too. i think they didn't have a game plan ready to face orlando without dwight howard. once they had their plan ready and knew what they had to do, they cruised by.

Bird certainly did an amazing job to build this team especially after that brawl. any other franchise would've been destroyed for a lot longer of years. Pacers quickly rebuilt and are now in the 2nd round.

It was far from quick. I've supported Bird on almost (friggin Hansbrough) move, but it certainly wasn't quick. If he weren't Larry Bird and the Simons weren't so hands off and patient he'd have been fired long ago.

i agree especially with this day in age where patience seems to be a virtue not in many sports organizations. it is now become a "what have you done for me lately" type of league which sucks. I agree it certainly wasn't quick, but Bird seems to have put together a solid ensemble.

This thread is emerging due to beating the Magic. Howard plays equals Pacers losing and Pacers losing equals this thread never being created. I agree that they are a well balanced team but the second round is the furthest they will go.

I think they will lose, but I think they will surprise some people and take it to atleast 6 games. They have size and I think that will help them, but the heat are just too strong.

Time for the real test. Of course they will not beat the Heat(ha that rhymed) but I will be impressed if they pull of 2 games.
