Who's your guy?

Give your best pitch for ONE guy and one guy only to be our head coach. State his name and reasons he would be your best man for the job. List credentials, his coaching tree pedigree, his coaching style, his reputation with with players etc. to enhance your argument. Have at it. I'll chime in with my choice a little later.

I doubt we can go far in the playoffs with Woodson but I think we can have a pretty good regular season record. Something like 50-32.

With all up and downs this season we finished at 36-30. That's an equivalent of 45-37 record in a 82 game season.

I would like to have Doc Rivers but he's already locked in with Boston.

Phil Jackson would be my first choice. Mike Woodson would be my second choice.

Either way, if we are healthy next year we should be a top 2 team in the East and challenge for a ring.

5/10 for Clutch (Jordan cracking up is overused).
7/10 for Sarcastic, I don't think I've seen that one before, but he isn't animated enough.
4/10 for The Ownage; similar to Sarcastic, lacking enthusiasm. She's not bad though.

I think my guy would be Mike....Budenholzer! He comes from the Popovich coaching tree. Most of Pops proteges teach quality defense. Hes also been around RC Buford so hopefully that skill for evaluating cheap, hidden talent.

I think Im in the minority of ppl who dont want Phil.

Sam Mitchell, Nate McMillan, and even Van Gundy seem intriguing.
