Default Re: Most underrated player in the NFL

So he's a big fat NT, even though he only plays NT about 21 percent of the time.

Gotcha.

he is lited on the depth chart as a tackle

when they were a 3-4 he was a NT first...or at least that is what I am seeing him listed as everywhere

right now NE's depth chart looks like:

LDE
Deaderick, Brandon
LDT
Love, Kyle
RDT
WILFORK, VINCE
RDE
Jones, Chandler

it doesn't matter...he is a big fat run stuffer, if they play him at CB that is fine...he is still a big fat run stuffer

he is awesome, but I'll take Campbell first...I think he is more dominate

and aren't "hurries" a part of "pressures" ?

QBI %...yeah okay lol...I guess Carlos Dunlap is the most disruptive DE in the NFL according to that %

Why so defensive?

Alson find it funny you dismiss stats but somehow the 8 sacks Campbell has means more than Ngata not having more sacks. Even tho Ngata has impacted the defense easily. I believe first week of the NFL season he has 2-3 forced fumbles. But hey he's 2 sacks short of Campbell, therefore we'd go Campbell > Ngata. Ok.

Do I put a ton of stock in the link I posted? No
Do I get a kick out of you spinning other peoples stats when you have been stat slinging in here? Hell yea.

Continue going overboard bro.

Question, why didnt you have the guy in the DPOY race?

Sacks shouldn't be subjective..."hurries and pressures" (what is the difference?) def are...that is what I was saying

I don't know how the hell they gave him credit for an extra sack, how do you do that?...the QB either got tackled or he didn't

I had Allen winning DPOY because of the sack record and being a big name...no way Calais had a shot, he didn't even get a all pro nod

Jason Babin has 30.5 sacks over 2 seasons. Trent Cole has 21. Cole is a better DE than Babin. 9 sacks short at that.

Ngata was a DPOY candidate. Campbell never was. Yet he's better than Ngata. Interesting.

My point is during the season we all threw out candidates often premature lists. And you never listed dude. But now, you did some fantasy football stuff and you're a fan. Just weird but whatever.

I just cant buy into what you're selling. He's a very good player no doubt. But all of a sudden he emerged as this guy you have a boner for now? Come on, overboard.

AGAIN, my DPOY lists were NEVER about who I felt was the actual best defender...or I would have had Revis number 1, then Willis, then Allen or Ware....then maybe Campbell...maybe

I had ALlen number 1 because I thought the voters would overrate the sack numbers to hell...how do you not remember all that?

Ngata and Campbell have different roles. Ngata isnt a pass rushing specialist. You dont look at his impact by sack totals.
