Default People of LA:

I'm coming to the USA in a few weeks. I start my trip in LA. Assuming the Lakers make it out of their struggles with Denver (lol) and we meet in the second round, and the Thunder win.. how far can I get wearing my Thunder jersey before I get shot?

Also would the riots be over by time I get there? I wouldn't want them to interfere with my sight-seeing.

Thanks!

Go to a lovely street called Crenshaw blvd. Ask the first group of black dudes you see for directions.

Contrary to popular belief, no one is going to beat you up. Unless you're at Staples and they just lost...or won.

Also, don't be a dick. Not every Angelino is a gangbanger, just like I'm sure not every Australian is a criminal.

LOL. You'd be surprised. Near Staples Center at night... parts of South Central are not places you wanna be as a tourist after dark. Then again I haven't lived in LA for 10 years.. maybe a lot has changed.

OK no problems, I assume black people are better with directions than white Americans? Thanks for the tip

That's not what my NWA album tells me..

Also while I'm at it, do I need to ask for less cheese on my Mexican food in the US? I hate when they overload on cheese!

You are an embarrassment to this board... your hate for he lakers extends as far down as the people living within the same city, don't you feel a bit pathetic for having such feelings?

There are plenty of places one should not walk around, City Terrace being one of them. However there are a lot of great food places around here if you just happen to be around (such as Philippe's which is LA's oldest restaurant that serves bomb roast beef sandwiches).

Holy fvcking shit....Philippe's is amazing. Staying on sandwiches, Greenblatt's on Sunset has deli sandwiches that'll have you squirtin' for certain. Then there's Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles...
