Amare is at that point of his career where he's established as a player. I don't think his game will change significantly.

All D'Antoni did was teach him to pick n roll. He never taught him to post up. Now at this late stage in his career, he's just a 1 trick pony.

Exactly.

As Amare became more of a Pick & Roll player on offense, he's also become far more lazy in every other aspect of basketball. You remove the Pick & Roll and Amare lost the bread & butter of his career. All we saw for the rest of the season was him out there Standing Tall and Talented and doing nothing.

When you go from a MVP candidate to an amnesty candidate in 1 year, its obvious that you need to get your ass in the gym and figure something out.
