FO doesn't count zone targets apparently (if they didn't goof) and Carbine is fcking POSTER here who could easily be persuaded by money or even just bias...
he is also just an amteur stat recorder at best who gives stats based on what he thinks the CB did or didn't have control of...for instance he didn't record an INT for someone due to the fact it was a lucky tip that fell into the CB's hands...the idea of using Carbine or ANY poster here for a $500 pot bet is out of the question for obvious reasons....legit stat sites only

Please tell me how PFF recorded each target for Nnamdi. You cant tell me what FO didnt do, what Carbine failed to do. But give me absolutely no details on how PFF recorded each target. For all we know they could have counted targets that actually werent targets. But hey the number is high so it suits your argument.
Another site recorded Nnamdi (footballfutures, a pretty big football msgboard) and they had Nnamdi around the same amount of targets FO did.
We dont have to use Carbine, my point was he recorded it. And his totals are closer to FO than PFF. So stop acting like FO totals vs PFF are absurd and wrong. They're not.
Since you're in the business of emailing people. Email PFF and ask how they recorded each target for Nnamdi. Shouldnt be hard. Not like the info they had to take down is erased, disappeared or hard to obtain since they recorded it. Ask them what qualifies as a target in their eyes.

Actually, that's not necessarily the case, that the lower number is likely to be wrong. It may have to do with the definition each group uses for what counts as "coverage." I encourage charters to mark a play as Hole in Zone if the team is clearly in a zone coverage with no specific defender assigned for that area. It's possible the difference could be made up of plays we have attributed to hole in zone while PFF decides to always assign a defender, particularly early in the season when they had Nnamdi playing some safety responsibilities.
We don't like to think of our game charting as a "side article." It is an important part of what we do, and we've been doing it longer than PFF. We started it back in 2005, the same time KC Joyner started, and I don't think anyone was doing it before we and KC started (separately from each other) at that point. Nobody likes to be wrong about these things, but we also like to think that unlike PFF we are willing to publicly acknowledge our limitations.
