Default Way of the Samurai games

Not sure if you guys have played them but these are classics. They are criticized a lot for basically never living up to their potential and having glitch flaws etc but the choose your own path type of deal was one of the gaming experience that paved the way for games like Mass Effect.

If you're into Asian culture, Samurai vs Ninjas and all that like me this is a very cool game. You can kill whoever you want and do whatever you want.

I only enjoyed the first one.

The others weren't as good. Though, they had potential. I'm surprised Japanese gaming companies haven't tried to bring this series back, especially now that gaming machines are more powerful than they were with the PS2.

But unfortunately, this is unlikely to be the case. It's almost impossible for good games to come out of Japan now.

Yea the first one was my fav. It's a shame like you said that they don't make one now. We need another Japanese open world, WPRG style game.

Its an acquired taste game indeed, for me as a Katana slashing lover they are all fantastic... have all those games.... the only thing i dont like is the unrealistic damage, in reality one itsy bitsy slice from a Katana and you are screwed, but here it seems like everybody has 500000 hp
