believe it or not, the blazers might do this

If Houston would agree to take Miles, theres a lot they'd do. And in this draft, there isn't much different in 4 and 8, 8 could very well be better than 1 at this point, you just dont know. I'd do it if I'm Portland. I'd go to one of the cap filled teams and tell them they'll trade down if they'll take their bad contracts. Doubt they'd do it, but you never know. Orlando might take Zach Randolph if they could move up into the top 10.

Reports are in that the Rockets have rejected that deal....

Quote:
DraftExpress - DraftExpress has learned that the Trailblazers are asking the Rockets to take on the contract of Darius Miles in return for Juwan Howard and the swapping of picks. A proposal made a few days ago by Portland a few days ago involed trading Darius Miles and the #30 and #31 picks in return for Juwan Howard and the #8 pick.

That offer was rejected by Houston and the teams have gone back to the drawing board.

I'd rather take my chance with Morrison, Aldridge, Roy, then JR smith.

I guess Portland really wants to get rid of D Miles because that's a horrible move. Also, this would probably mean that they have a deal for Randolph in the works.

That was the first deal, not the second.

The new one is Juwan/8 for Miles/4. Get your sh!t straight before passing it off as fact

No long explanation.

Because it's not happening.

Would Darius Miles starting and Stromile Swift backing him be up one of the greatest "all-potential, no brains" tandems ever?

MAKE IT HAPPEN, MITCH!

Few questions where is Brandon Roy predicted to go to and what teams are high on him?
Who is interested in trades with the rockets besides trailblazers and what are the chances of it happening?

A few of other trades that have been rumored are...

- Hornets/Rockets: Some combination of J.R. Smith, #12, #15 (2 of the 3) for Houston's #8.

- Timberwolves/Rockets: Wolves #6 for Rockets #8 and Luther Head.

- Magic/Rockets: Magic's #11 and DeShawn Stevenson for Rockets #8.

As a Rockets fan I rank them as follows:

1. Portland trade
2. New Orleans/Ok City trade
3a. Minnesota trade
3b. Orlando trade

This is such a crazy draft that it's hard to say where anyone falls, but I would expect Roy to be there at #4, maybe #6. Personally I think it would take a miracle for him to fall to #8. I would have to guess that the Bobcats, Blazers, and Timberwolves would have the most interest besides Houston.
