Liverpool have reportedly appointed Swansea City's Brendan Rodgers on a three-year deal.

Don't know if Liverpool has players for or that want to play in Rodgers system. He plays a possession heavy style with lots of short passes similar to Barça...
I'm watching Spain-Korea right now...nice confidence building goal for Fernando Torres.

Scoring 19 goals with a team that plays strictly to his weaknesses
Gomez could only wish he could do that.

Well, He managed to have Wigan stay in the Premier League these past few seasons despite having a non-existent budget. He's done a great job of developing youth and I think a young coach is what they need.
I think he would do a good job of getting the best of Carroll, Henderson, Kelly, Coates and all the other young players on that squad.

They're the same age. Rodgers tactics seem to be better, apparently Mourinho's a fan of the guy.
He's travelling with Spain's national team studying their style and "sharing ideas" with their coaches.
There's a lot of info about him I've read some, seems like a good selection.
