STYLES11 has an OK reputation so far
Default Re: 2012-2013 English Premier League Thread (La Liga, Serie A, etc.)

dzeko would be no good for chelsea because he isnt mobile enough. chelsea's system needs a quick forward who will force defenders back and give more space for mata, hazard and oscar. and if teams press high against them they can exploit that players speed. even daniel sturridge is a better option than torres right now because he is much quicker and will always shoot when presented with the chance to do so. how many chances has torres wasted because he was either too slow and/or too passive? way too many already and its only 10-11 games into the season.

falcao is a great player, top 5 in the world today, but i dont think he is what chelsea needs. sure he is a infinitely better than torres but they need a quick and explosive player leading the line to compliment what they have. sometimes big names arent the way to go. you have to get a player who compliments what you have.

I was looking at some CR highlights during his stint with Man U and that team had some scary young talent in Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Nani and even Pique! Talk about a golden generation.

Lets say if Man U found a way to keep all their talent what could have been their ceiling? Could they have challenged Barca, best squad ever??

Even Giuseppe Rossi.

But no, not a chance. Not unless they have equal or near equal quality at center midfield.

Forgot they even had him.

Maybe they would've tried Rooney at CM or as an attacking mid atleast? But Carrick, Scholes, Giggs would've been sufficient.

But what about something like this? Assuming they don't sign RVP, Kagawa, etc

Ronaldo-Tevez-Nani
--------Rooney
----Scholes--Carrick
Evra--Pique--Vidic--Rafael
----------GK

If Bayern didn't let Mats Hummels go:

Neuer
Lahm Hummels Badstuber Alaba

Hummels and Badstuber played together for many years in the youth ranks. Dat possible chemistry.

What a joke league.

http://football-italia.net/26553/nap...-betting-probe

Quote:
Napoli could be docked points and a number of their players banned as part of the Italian Football Federationís next stage of their betting probe.

The club have come under the spotlight after former goalkeeper Matteo Gianello was accused of attempting to fix the outcome of a game at Sampdoria in 2010.

Although Paolo Cannavaro and Gianluca Grava rejected Gianelloís requests to help fix the match, the pair could be punished for failing to report the incident.

Juventus boss Antonio Conte is currently serving a suspension for failing to report knowledge of a bid to fix a Siena game while he was Coach in Tuscany.

Napoli, as the club involved, have been deferred along with Grava and Cannavaro. The Azzurri could be fined or even docked points.

Brilliant strike from El Apache to put City up 1-0.

Might as well put all the focus into winning the PL since there's no chance in CL now.
