Re: 2012-2013 English Premier League Thread (La Liga, Serie A, etc.)
there was some guy at some village club close to my city who used to score 5 goals a game which would mean he probably scored around 300 in a year...
my point is only big european leagues should count, and not some 3rd world countries with no footage
Re: 2012-2013 English Premier League Thread (La Liga, Serie A, etc.)
that goal by kun just showed how great city can be with a good coach... with someone like mou or even better pep since they have great passers...
their talents shouldnt be wasted no more

Shelvey is not a bad player in the midfield. I actually think he has the potential to be a good box-box midfielder but putting him as a striker(the other week) and as a left winger is just bizarre.. He doesn't have any pace to him so he can't even stretch the defense out. Rodgers also deployed Downing at LB the other week..
Bottom line is that they have zero forward depth. It's Suarez, a pubescent Sherling and that's about it.. Loaning out Carroll was dumb and even though he's not scoring goals he's still impacts the game with his size and physically.
I also don't think Henderson is a bad player as well. They might as well switch up the formation and play Gerrard behind Suarez or something.

RVP/Rooney and Aguero/Tevez really are the two most unstoppable striker pairings in the world right now....well when Mancini chooses to pair Aguero and Tevez. lol
Other teams may have better offensive quality overall due to the entire forward and midfield combination, but as far as strikers alone, there aren't better pairings . Dzeko and Hernandez coming off the bench ain't too bad either.

Eh. Barcelona has been running Pedro-Messi-Iniesta up front lately. That's a no-brainer over those guys imo.
