No they are not.

Losing to them is not a big deal because it happens, but they are nowhere near the level of an Ajax.

So Chelsea just got dominated by a team with a payroll of only 5 million?

Nowhere near?

Eredivisie is not what it used to be. The brazilian league is better today than the Dutch League and Corinthians is a better team than Ajax.

They are way better than Ajax is. Current Ajax would get shitted on 3-0 by this corinthians team.

Euro snobbery against south american teams is disgusting. Some of the best boca teams of the 90s could have won the champions league.

It wasn't domination, it was 1-0 with hardly any chances, Rafa playing Ramires and Lampard together when it never works (WTF) and Torres failing us at the end when needed most once again by missing a chance even Jonjo Shelvey would finish ten times out of ten that would have sent it in to extra time, if it was any other player besides Torres given that chance.

Corinthians actually has a bunch of players who couldn't put it together in other small time leagues in Eastern Europe, Arabia and Japan.

That said there is tons of talent in South America. All we can say with certainty is that Corinthians just shitted on Chelsea's best.

I know by proxy how good the leagues in Eastern Europe, Arabia and Japan are. We've seen plenty of players from those leagues around these parts. It might surprise you, but people actually watch football sometimes around here. If those players never went higher up than that they aren't all that special.

But whatever. Keep pretending Chelsea just got dominated by a team with at least Champions League level talent.

I've been reading all sorts of madness lately.

Who do you think Mourinhio was talking about in his rant in the post game against Celta?

Ajax would play them off the park just like they played City off the park. Ajax has a great philosophy behind it and talent to back it up, the dutch league while a shell of it's former self is still much better than the Brazilian league because there's much more tactical organization.

They didn't shit on them, it was a pretty even game. Mikel and JT weren't playing and Torres was on the field, so it wasn't chelsea's best by default.

Teams like Zagreb, Montpellier, Anderlecht, Nordsjælland, BATE Borisov, Braga, CFR Cluj played in the Champions League. If you think Corinthians is not even on the same league as those teams, you are delusional and got an insane european bias.

Eastern Europe, Arabia, Japan? Yep, several great teams there. You treat the brazilian league like it's some inferior football country league. The International Federation of Football History & Statistics ranks the brazilian league as the 4th best in the world. The prestigious english football magazine fourfourtwo ranks it as 5th best and you act like it's a shitty league (with teams worse Nordsjælland, BATE Borsivov and Cluj.

Eredivisie and tactical organization LAWL, wtf, both leagues are similar in that they favor all out attack, the difference is the Brazilian league is deeper and has more talent at the bottom and the top then the Dutch league.

Corinthians looked preety tatical organized there.

Please, the Dutch League is only ranked 7th best in Europe by Uefa. And the IFFHS only ranks it 8th best in the world.
