Eastern Europe, Arabia, Japan? Yep, several great teams there. You treat the brazilian league like it's some inferior football country league. The International Federation of Football History & Statistics ranks the brazilian league as the 4th best in the world. The prestigious english football magazine fourfourtwo ranks it as 5th best and you act like it's a shitty league (with teams worse Nordsjślland, BATE Borsivov and Cluj.

No I don't. I didn't say anything about the Brazilian League, you need to learn to read.

I did say though that Corinthians has a bunch of starters who used to play in the J-League, the Polish League, Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc. A bunch of their players tried to, but weren't able to carve out a career in Europe.

That's the make up of their team. These players spend their primes playing in those leagues. Those are not good leagues.

How are those rankings done exactly? That ranking has Germany behind Brazil.

It's bullshit plain and simple.

Corinthians are a good team with a couple great players (Paulinhio is the best Segundo Volante in Brazil at the moment and should start for the national team). But if you look at Brazilian football and you see the myopic defensive schemes they have there you'll understand what I;m saying.

They are probably as good as the worst fluke teams to ever reach the CL. Which Champions League level talent I meant teams that can actually compete in the CL in the sense of showing some semblance of competitiveness with the rest of the teams.

But congrats then. Chelsea just got dominated by a team with a payroll of about 5 million that might be slightly better than Nordsjślland. Be proud!

Well, I think they would have a good chance of advancing past groups stages. They would not reach the semis IMO.

I don't support Chelsea. I don't know where you got that from.

There was no domination. If sturridge starts ahead of Torres it is a 3-1 chelsea victory.

Please...those rankings are, and pretty much always have been, quite a joke. There is no way in hell the Brazilian league is the 4th best in the world.

Just hand Barcelona the trophy already. Said this after round 5 or something, they look so much hungrier than they did last season.

About the Eredivisie: It's clearly not what is has been.
We're clearly a league of talents. RvP, Suarez, Kalou, Sneijder, van der Vaart, Huntelaar, Vertonghen, Tiotť, Laudrup, Litmanen, Kuyt, Honda, Kanu, Ibrahimovic and many more have become pretty good players here.

We've had a couple of bad years in which talents didn't get chances. But things have changed. Eriksen, Vilhena, Fer and Strootman are a couple of names you'll here in the future. Dutch league might get stronger again.

well shaktar's team is full of brazilians that werent even anything special when they played in brazil, and now they are owning teams like chelsea and juve
sure there are denilsons and robinhos here and there, but brazilian league is full of talent and definitely top 6-7 league in the world
with more money and better infrastructure they can be one of the best for sure

oh and btw, does anyone really think barca wont win all 3 trophies this year? anyone that crazy?
