seems like this is really true... wow this might be the worst transfer in a long time... not only he is one of the most promising players in the world and already on of the best in germany, not only they sell him to their biggest rivals, BUT they do it right before the semi-finals in which both teams play. WOW

I'm pretty sure it was Sky Italia who broke the Guardiola news. And you didn't own anybody, the BILD is still not "usually spot on with these things".

Anyway this transfer brings up the question how Dortmund is going to respond to the current situation. Götze is already leaving and Lewa will probably leave too, if they don't sell him this summer he's going to leave in the one after for free. Hummels has also been contemplating a move to Barcelona. So I wonder if they are going to use the transfer income accordingly and try to continue to establish themselves as the second driving force in German football behind Bayern, or they just take the money and continue to develop cheap talents.

for €37 million or less, dortmund should be a able to get a good replacement. they should try to buy that draxler kid from schalke.

if lewy and hummels are sold, then bvb will have in the vicinity of 100 million to use in filling the gaps

still, it's not a good look for the bundesliga when transfers like this are made and i don't think gotze is an effective false 9

Dortmund was facing relegation because of severe financial problems just a few years ago, it was actually Bayern who saved them, but i'm pretty sure that they are in a healthy financial position now especially with the Champions League and transfer revenue from the last 2 years.

Liverpool's Luis Suarez is banned for 10 matches by the Football Association for violent conduct following an incident with Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic in Sunday's fixture at Anfield.

Eh, at least I hope this contributes to a possible Suarez transfer.

The guy might be a raging psychopath, he is too good to spend his best years on a mid-level team like current Liverpool. I want to see what he can do playing for a top 10 team.
