Crazy how Monaco has turned their squad around. French league is making a huge transformation now. Few years back they had some good squad in Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, etc, but no elite squads. Now with PSG's transformation and with Monaco's revival it suddenly looks like a great league..

Is the French League going to surpass the Big 3(England, Germany, Spain)?

It will not be a great league with 2 top heavy teams. It's going to be another La Liga. At least those two teams draw interest and are very good teams but to say they are going to surpass them? No.

Ligue 1 has to surpass MLS first. MLS has the best competition in regards to fair level of play. Any team can win it in MLS.

I actually watched the USA V Belgium friendly game back yesterday as it happened to be on the UK version of ESPN. USA weren't terrible, but Belgium were too much for them. I think Belgium are going to be dark horses for a strong run in some international competitions the next few years. Scary core of Mignolet, Lukaku, Fellaini, Hazard, Kompany and Benteke.

EDIT: Not to mention I forgot about Dembele, Vertonghen, Vermaelen and more, wow, awesome squad.

We were terrible. Belgium is better than us but 3 of those goals were youth level mistakes from our back line. That's no surprise when our coach decides it's a good idea to play a CB at RB and a veteran who's been a winger his entire career at LB. He also put two slow central midfielders out wide effectively giving us no width or pace. Thankfully Fabian Johnson, Edgar Castillo, and Michael Bradley will be back against Germany.

No. Howard is unbelievable with the national team. He's bailed us out of so many games with incredible saves. It's not his fault he has to play with an awful pair of CBs in front of him.

That team needs classy players and not another guy like Suarez. For some reason I think his game will clash with CR7.

You guys getting mad because MLS over Ligue 1. Ligue has been on the decline until recently. Their attendance have been down and now everyone's happy because of PSG and Monaco.

MLS has better attendance and it doesn't rely on two top teams. It's a league with fair play amongst the teams.

Looking forward to New York City when they start play.

City is close to signing Jesus Navas and possibly Isco too. The Pellegrini revolution is already starting

Lebowsky - how do you rate Pellegrini as a manager? He seems to have done a good job at Malaga
