Default Vertical Leap Product feedback

I've been thinking about buying jumpsoles for a while but I never have because no one I know has em and I wanted personal feedback instead of the products website testimonies. I'm 5'10 and I need around 1 more foot to be able to dunk (I touch the backboard, with no problem, actually a bit higher than the backboard). Now I've been doing a bit of research and I've been reading that strength vest and shorts is a better alternative than jump soles. Anyone here have any personal experience with any of those 2 items? or any other equipment/method that has worked for you?

I don't know nothing about that stuff..

First of all, I'm 5'10 as well, and started dunking in the 9th grade.. I'm, um, much older now, but can still dunk one-handed.. At any rate, I was doing specific exercises.. I'm not advertising, but I know that book from Air Alert has the same exercises in it that I was doing.. VERY GOOD book.. Just do the routine about 5 times a week, for 30 minutes or so, and it's golden.. At least for me it was.. I had a decent leap before the book, but I was doing the routine for about a month and REALLY noticed a difference..

Do a quick web search for Air Alert.. It's only like $15 or something like that..

calesthenics and plyometrics. look into it.

basically if you want to want to be able to jump better, practice jumping. strengthen the muscles involved and practice jumping with added resistance. you can pay to get a good program over the internet, or just look around and you might finds tips and advice for free. i find bodybuilding.com pretty helpful.
