pacers/warriors 8 player trade?

indy sending big al, sarunas, jackson and josh powell to golden state. we're getting troy murphy, mike dunleavy, ike diogu and keith mcleod.



what do u guys think about this one? personally, i didn't see it coming at all.

here's my quick breakdown of our possible new players...

troy murphy- good rebounder and outside shooter, not a post player that we need to backup j.o.

dunleavy jr.- mediocre outside shooter, mediocre everything else as well. and i hate that stupid hair thingy he wears(mike miller wears it too).

ike diogu- here's our best part of the trade. hopefully he'll be our future j.o.

keith mcleod- decent backup point. not nearly as good of a shooter as saras.

i don't want big al to go!

im glad to see AL and Jackson go, theyre sooo inconsistent...Al cant play dee if his life depended on it...i'd rather have Troy over Al

I really thought it was time to move on with Jackson and AL very inconsistent
on the floor. But, i really believe you guys will like IKE Diogu..Just my thought. The pacers needs to move on. Would like to see them beat the piston out in the east. Good luck guys.

i dont think he can be traded anytime soon, theres a trade restriction on him, isnt there??

i dont think so, since the trade was before the deadline, i believe he can still be traded. that happens alot actually. its like a delayed 3 team swap...could be wrong though

yeah they can trade Dunleavy for Maggete if they want to, there aren't any restrictions. I think the pacers will pull off another trade for a guard soon, defiantely before the deadline. The pacers also got screwed because they dont have a first round pick in 2007 draft, because of us getting al harrington this summer. This draft is defiantely going to be the deepest in a long time, it be nice to trade for a high first round pick.

unless we offer a package deal for one player in return, there is no way to get a draft pick without shipping JO....IMO

we could have gotten a first rounder for harrington, i mean we gave atlanta one for him...i bet the warriors would have given their first round pick for harrington, because they wanted him bad last summer

I think it will just be days before Dunleavy joins his dad in Clipperland. Maggette would help out more than Dunleavy.

is it just me thinking this, or didn't this trade just absolutely kill Indiana's 3pt shooting? you're taking away Jax, AL, and Sarunas, and not really replacing them with 3pt shooters.
Marquis Daniels (your starting 2 guard now, should be kicked squarely in the nuts anytime he even thinks of shooting a 3).

you should also note that harrington and jackson are starters on indy, where as murphy (who had been injured this season also) and Dunleavy werent starters on GS
