I used to be the exact opposite. When I was in high school i ONLY worked my legs. Leg press, leg curls jumping exercises...it was part of my grand master plan to be able to dunk. But I didnt do jack shit with my upper body until a few years ago.

How much cardio is too much when trying to clean bulk? I'm 6'5" and around 220 right now, which is a little heavier than I was when I was in my best shape around 2 years ago (about 205-210) although I've gotten a bit stronger. I currently consume around 3,200cals a day so would it be beneficial to just increase cals a little if I wanted to add some cardio?

And nice good luck man. Honestly if I had time I would get back into martial arts. I quit when I was younger to do basketball instead and I really regret it now.

Probably wouldn't do it competitively but I wanna maybe try Muay Thai recreationally.

Don't think because you took your pre-workout or had a mug of coffee you'll be able to lift as much as you did the week before.

Good looking out, I know my limits though and what happened to me was a freak accident. The bench I was on moved and the bar just rolled in my hands, it wasn't a full length olympic bar and I didn't have much weight on it.

Good luck, Boxing is the best cardio there is IMO, the weight will fly off and your shoulders turn into boulders.

Man... I have the flu, and I tried to go to the gym that day just before everything goes to crap and you get really sick... Not a good idea. Doing back day. I had to lower the weight by 88lbs from my normal set of 5... Depressing.

It was weird, because when I was in the gym, it didn't feel like I was sick or anything. I was pumped up, fine, and I could barely get 5 pull ups out as well between my deadlifts... Now I've gone and lost about 2.5 kilos (6lbs) during this time... Not looking forward to going back in gym and seeing my bench and squat numbers.

also stupid question but because i live far away from the gym and i need to take the protein shake immediately after workout, can i just make it at home and just leave the bottle in my car ( a lot of heat in the car though ) during the workout and drink it afterwards... is it the same or ill have to mix it right before drinking?

You ever try walmart's protein bodyfitness? I mean it doesn't have iso protein, it's mostly whey but it's amazingly good. If you can, snag the strawberry... it's fcking rare though.

This is the protein I use. The 'chocolate shake' tastes pretty good, and most importantly I'm able to digest it! with my weak azz stomach.

Most protein shakes will do the same thing. However your best bet is to go ahead and by a New Zealand based brand that is a tri-blend (has Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate and Cassein protein for example). There cows are the least hormonal in the world and produce the best quality.

Go for Horleys crossfire. The king of proteins and protein shakes.

Just realized that I've been chronically undereating literally 90% of the days these past 2 years. No wonder my deadlift blasted up to 415 within less than 9 months and then stalled for months... Time to up the calories big time. 5 meals or bust. Commuting and work interfere though.

If I have to I'll chug down olive oil with OJ. Take on extra helpings of whatever. No more fukks given about abs.

Time to become a motherfukking Marine. Six months left. Enough of this excuse bullsh!t.

Three day split with minimal equipment.

Legs/Shoulders
1) Pistol Squat 4 Sets. Max Reps.
2) Handstand Pushups. 4 Sets. Max Reps
3) Hindu Pushups. 4 sets*Max
4) Hamstring Curls with Ball or imitation Ham Glute Raise. 4 sets.
5) That Side Plank thing for the delts

Chest/Tri/Abs/Cardio
1) One Arm Pushup
2) Tigerbend Pushup + Bodyweight Skullcrusher ghetto version
3) Fist Wide Pushup
4) Leg Lifts
5) Janda Sit Up
6) RKC Plank
7) Russian Ballet Hip Thrust
8) Run

Back/Bis/Abs*Speed*
Run a few sprints. Perfect form uphill
1) One Arm Chin UPs (Not real one arm) + Straight Bar Dips
2) Wide grip pull ups
3) Chin ups
4) Hanging Leg Raises
5) Standing Board Jumps

Hill Sprints * 5 or so
Jump Rope (Double Under and speed footwork) in interval sessions

Let's go. MUST. GET. DRESS. BLUES. Long way off but anythings possible.
