I was actually referring to PullUpJay with that part but it's good to know that there's another guy in here who's a fan of Elliott.

And, I see, I see. What time do you get out from your job? I guess my being a student is the main reason I train later in the day, but it's something that I can't imagine steaying away from either. Add to that I've gotten used to fasting in the morning, so i definitely want my session sometime close to my big-ass dinner.

He'z teh fukking man.

I love that he is so damn curious about the world.

Prior to having visited his channel I had read from front to back, multiple times:
Higher, Faster, Sports - Kelly Baggett
T- Nation
Jim Wendler Articles
Charles Poliquin
Dave Tate
Nate Green
Lyle Mcdonald
and
all the religious books and all the great literature books.

AND THEN BAM THIS DUDE KNOWS IT ALL and sums it up in a way that is plain awesome. And he happens to have a hell of a vert leap as well.

Check out his Pinterest Reading List. Quality Stuff.

Any of you catch the O?
I was there last weekend promoting. We have Erin Stern competing in Women's figure. I shyt you not, she's the only one who is drug free in this whole competition. I train with her time to time. Chick is amazing.
BTW, We are now affiliated with the NFL main training facility. Look for us to blow it up. Got Flacco signed. Looking for an Athlete in Philly (no not Vick )

Run. And eat more calories.

Cardio is intrinsically awesome. Better blood flow, more BDNF release, and just getting into that "flow" when its like magic theres a feeling u get when pullupjay sprints and he sprints and people are diggin his sh!t this is yo moment and every muscle that ache within serve to push u one step forward .. only issue is wear and tear on knees but who cares they should last u till 70 or so.

Ask bmulls (huge guy who went to become a SEAL). He did 12 workouts 9 which were cardio/swimming 3 calis 3 weights and he said he felt like a true warrior athlete. Never felt better. Truly fit.

I know for a fact that my friends who live active lifestyles and eat more are >>>>>>>>>> weekend warrior 3X gym and eat less calories.

I know a guy who eats 5k cal of pure crap but does sets of 50 pushups sets of chin ups sets of 70 squats and runs a lot (doesn't even lift) and just feels more.. alive than people who eat measly 2.5kcal healthy. Just anecdotalyl speaking

Gotta make the time.

In terms of body composition its probably more efficient just to lift obviously.

Yeah, man, I've checked it out before and got to downloading some of them. Having self-diagnosed myself with book ADHD though, I haven't finished any.

Strength was down a little yesterday but muscle endurance was up, can't seem to get them on the same page of being good on the same day.

Almost done with my cut, it's starting to get so much harder though, almost always find myself hungry and thinking of food. That said, my abs are finally starting to pop and I'm still over 220lbs, I need to focus more on my obliques now though.

Been training with a cold for the last few days. Sucks doing reps, when you can barley breath out of you nose.

I have one, but good looks!

I've been using that and been doing hanging leg raises + twists.

Also, I may take next week off from the gym, last week went pretty poorly for me with endurance and power taking a big dip. And today it seems the muscle endurance drop off has continued, sucks bad but I'm guessing my CNS might be a bit burnt out as I haven't had a break in 8 months.

Man, there are two exercises I still haven't gotten even after all my time in the gym... lol.

Tricep pushdown/pulldown and chest flies. I've changed my form on each of these soo many times, that I've lost count. lol...
Anyone have any exercises that still bother them after all these years of training?

Overhead Pressing. Just yesterday, I hit a PR at 1 plate, but that was damn near a max effort for me. I almost always include them in my training and I progress really slow, and even if the press is known to be one of the hardest movement to gain strength in, I've only moved an additional 85 pounds in a year and a half. Still looking to get up to my bodyweight on the press by the end of this year though. That additional 40 pounds to go is gonna be a real ride though.

Damn, dawg, that happened to my brother when he tried to get on IF like I did. Once he got back to eating breakfast, it stopped though. Then again, it wasn't just deadlifts that were sufferring for him. Is it just with deads for you?

Oh, and Plow, you were the one wanting to trade in your power cage and get a cable row machine or something right? I just remembered, you could just racking the bar on the j-hook, lying down a bit, and do inverted rows from there. Worthwhile replacement if you don't wanna get rings/suspension gear yet.

That's bizarre.
How is your breathing, etc? Make sure to take big breathes just before and after your lift.
I find my form is off on deadlifts if the weight is too light. I need at least 225lbs on the bar to get my body to concentrate, otherwise I feel too loose in the lift. Honestly, the heavier it gets, the better I feel about my form. I have videos of myself doing 225lbs, 315lbs, 445lbs and 505lbs, and I honestly feel that my form looks best at 445 and 505.

Nah bro, not me.

Not enough money to start buying my own gear yet. Have all the room in the world for it, just not enough money.

Speaking of, what are those hooks called you put on the barbell, which allow you to put dumbbells on them, so you don't have to waste energy getting them up for dumbbell press? I need to invest in those. I saw the New Zealand rugby team was using them. Mainly because I suck at getting the weights up, and its a bitch getting anything over 110-120lbs up.

romanian deadlift.

just feels super awkward to me. i feel like there are way better exercises to hit hamstrings, but this seems to be the most popular hamstring isolation movement for whatever reason.
