I am kinda disturbed by the lack of conversation in this thread. It seems like most of the time, people come in here and post random stuff without a response. Kinda funny at times.

Kind of bummed I've failed my deadlifts last two weeks. Did 475 x 3 two weeks ago (callous ripped so I stopped, thought I had more) and only managed 485 x 2 today. Both were supposed to be sets of five. Probably doesn't help I'm trying to cut. Gonna take a week off of deads and reset at a lower weight.

Officially signed up for a powerlifting competition in June, hoping to qualify for USPA nationals so I need to get my shit together.

For eliteballers question, I use 24 hr. The local one is decent, had bball court and it's the only one I've been to with a deadlift platform.

I've stopped taking whey almost two years ago (and oddly enough that's when my biggest gains came), but based on taste alone, Dymatize was the best of what I've tried (I've tried TwinLabs, ON, GNC, and Designer Whey). Their vanilla is absolutely AMAZING and mixes great with anything. Was also the only one I 've used that actually mixed well with just a spoon.

OT: Damn, I say this too much. Hateraid should give me endorser fees. HAHAHA

What'd you guys do today? I hit up some morning fasted hill sprints and makeshift kettlebell swings with some plates of mine that have handles.

I woke up sat in front of the laptop and haven't gotten up from that chair


I worked out a full body Wednesday because the gym was gonna be closed from Thursday to Sunday so I did everything that day. I am still feeling the consequences

If you have the money and space, you should definitely look into setting up a barebones gym in your place. A second hand barbell set and some thick, dense rubber mats will do you good for a LONG time.

Dymatize is my choice as well. Just finished a ten pound tub, just ordered another ten pounds for around 80 bucks with free shipping.

anyone else going one night sleepless every week?
well its happening to me again right now, 7am and cant and shouldnt go to sleep.. well i have an exam in 2 hours.. i feel as fresh as ever though.. its happening every saturday/sunday now.. i sleep 9/10 hours a day rest of the week.. i changed my diet though the last couple of weeks since i started taking creatine.. lots of protein with it and a gallon of water ( didnt drink water at all before that)

Might be the creatine? It's supposed to be an energy catalyst too, right? I've been getting that too but every night the past week. I've been putting coconut oil in my evening meals to add some calories and I suspect that's what's keeping me up at night since it's known to give boosts of energy.
