Starting back the gym again since 2 days ago. My arms are still sore. Going to work out my legs today.

There is none. If you eat more than you burn you are not gonna lose weight/fat. You can take whatever supplements you want, it's all about calories in and calories out as plowking said.

Supplements like green tea, omega 3 fats, vitamins, minerals are all mostly beneficial for long-term health. Of course judging by different studies taking those supplements might have some positive effect as far as losing weight/fat is concerned but those effects are so microscopic for an average guy to notice that it's pointless to focus to much on it when you're just starting to get in shape. When you will stand next to Heath, Coleman, Green etc.. on stage I will recommend you to look more into supplements...

I heard decline push ups (basically like incline bench) are a great method of activating the seratus, which will in turn help with the shoulder stability.

Anyone have a similar issue and how did you deal with it? What are some good exercises. I have been doing external rotations and face pulls as well, but those are part of my every day routine anyway. I originally thought it was a rotator cuff problem like most, but it turns out it is the actual scapula stability that is the issue.
Haven't had those issues but usually first place I look when problems like this arise is Kelly Staretts YouTube or book.

Does your gym have a pullover machine? They're great for activating the serratus

If they don't you can do pullovers with a DB on a flat bench -

Also, I've pretty much stopped doing heavy flat bb bench, my shoulder is involved way too much with it and the risk of further damage to my shoulders is too high since I have long arms. I do BB decline, flat DB bench and DB incline....

Gained 20lbs in one month, stopped working out the next two months and eating unhealthy I ended up losing 5lbs out of the 20. +20, -5

Started working back out now. I'll be consistent again. This time for good.

Works the pecs, triceps, lats, serratus and other muscles.

I prefer the machine though, you can go heavier with higher reps without worrying about a DB smashing your face in.
