Default I might have to get into tennis

I was bored as hell and I switched to ESPN to see if they had anything interesting going on. Turns out they're showing a live telecast of the Australian Open. I'm watching Roddick and Safin go at it in the 4th set and it's freaking intense. They both look exhausted but they hit the ball harder on every swing than I probably could on ONE.

I've seen some tennis highlights before where it looked pretty cool, but I never gave it too much thought. Now that I'm actually watching it and getting caught up in it during a match it's fun. They've been playing for 3 hours now. Insane.

Anybody else like watching/playing tennis? There are always people playing at the courts near where I play bball. I might need to take it up.

I play tennis. It's really fun. The major tournaments are fun to watch too.

yes its my favorite sport.. It's a very addictive though. Most guys I know who just start getting in, become obsessed and play like 5 hours a day.

I love watching tennis, but I can't stand playing it because I'm absolutely terrible at it. I like playing badminton, though, much less running around and I'm not at as much of a disadvantage due to my lack of height and athleticism.

Tennis is probably my 3rd favorite sport to watch behind basketball and football. I definitely like it 1,000 times more than baseball..at least there's movement in tennis.

I play and watch. I've talked tennis with y2geezee also. I follow Nadal and Hewitt. I even have the same raquet as Hewitt (Yonex promo right here). I actually use tennis as a means to help my footwork for basketball.

Mos definately still selling this raquet. It's not hard to find and places that sell raquets will always carry this stock. Yonex is also killer for badminton. I love my raquet. It might sound a little funny but how I especially liked it for it's shape. How it goes flat at the top. it's got a good sweet spot and gives good power.
