those domination years didnt translate into wins, hell he even missed the playoffs once, magic never missed the playoffs and made the finals 9 times in 12 seasons, even when the lakers sucked in 91 he still lead them to the finals, if domination doesnt end in a ring it doesnt mean anything.

Are you talking you using winning AGAINST KAREEM? He is one of the most winning players in the history of the game. Not only did he win in College, right when he got into the NBA, he showed how good of a winner he was

kareem only won 1 ring as his team's best player, magic won 5, i use winning against kareem because in the 70s (decade to were talking about) he didnt win much other than 71 with OSCAR ROBERTSON, and he missed the playoffs once, magic never did.

And Kareem is the reason Magic has all those rings too...You can say if you want that in 87 and 88 he wasn't a big factor, but he actually was...Teams paid a lot of attention to him...And in 87 he put up 22ppg in the Finals

4, and arguably only 3. Magic was certainly not the best player on the '80 squad, and arguably not on the '85 team either. But he definitely doesn't have 5 rings as the best player on the team. More like 4.
