And Shaun Alexander never had a 2,000-yard rushing season.

For the record, like I already said, I'm a huge Shaun Alexander fan. He's one of the few players who's not a Buccaneer that I have a jersey of. But he's not better than Earl Campbell was.

Curtis Martin has to be the most underrated RB of all time...he Ran for 1,000+ for 10 seasons in a row

1. Argument is spelled without an e at the end of argu-

2. I already told you. It's not ALL about stats. It's partially the eye test. Campbell was a better runner than Alexander, IMO. And that's my opinion. You just have a different opinion. Campbell is widely regarded as a top 10 RB amongst most NFL "gurus."

And I agree on Curtis Martin. He is severely underrated. He was never too flashy, but he was consistently great.

okay so the "eye test" is all you have to go by...just a simple "he looked better to me"...even though the production was less

what "NFL gurus" have Campbell as a top-10?

Curtis is being inducted into the HOF this year...maybe it will open people's eyes

Guy, I said it's partially the eye test. You place ALL of your stock into stats and awards. There's more to it than that. Ask most NFL experts and fans and they'd say Campbell>>>>Alexander

And as is normal with most debates with you, I will resign b/c life's too short to continue this little dance.

the only one that should resign is me...you don't explain or bring any form of arguement at all...

okay so it is partially an eye test, what is the other part?...it's not stats that's for sure

and I'll ask AGAIN...what "NFL gurus" have Campbell as a top-10?...oh none of them

you know what, I'll just go ahead and say it is fine to put Campbell over Alexander dispite the fact that Alexander had better career stats...that one is certainly arguable...(without using a silly player's MVP award that only existed when Campbell played)

but putting him in a top-10 list is just flat out wrong...he was a great back but his career was cut short to the point that he can't be top-10 all time.

If Campbell is in your top-10 then Bo Jackson should also be a candidate, because you are just ranking off short term prime years and not entire careers...
