Poor man's KG? That's actually good.
I think he's just the next Marcus Camby. He's being really overrated. He has an extremely limited offensive game and is way too thin. He's going to get pushed around a lot. He's very quick and athletic though, but he really needs to bulk up if he wants to be a Superstar, similar to how Dwight did. He's pretty good defensively though, but everyone on that Kentucky team plays great defense and unbelievable help defense, and thus look better individually than they actually are. He needs to bulk up quick because he's not stopping legitimate post up scorers 1-on-1 in the NBA.

Just because his offensive game wasn't showcased at UK doesn't mean it's extremely limited. Can't wait until the summer league..

You shut your GODDAMN mouth! Davis is averaging 14pts and 8rebs a game coming off a long break. He has had limited minutes lately and is still doing well.
He won't be amazing right off the bat but he will be very good when he gains 15-20lbs.

how can he be a marcus camby type? He can really handle the ball and shoot and shoot off the dribble. Obviously he's not elite in any of those area's but he's definitely ahead of the curve for a young big.
He's also ridiculously coordinated for someone with his height and wingspan, and can cover so much space so quickly.
How can you watch him and think bust? He's going to be running around bigs in this league for a decade+

Davis is slumping due to playing more games already in NBA than college. Hes hit a wall but is still high IQ in bball department
Hes a smooth athlete, he doesnt rise up volatile like Blake or JJ Hickson, but he can leap and his athletiscm is the kind that will stay consistent throughout.
He has a jumper and I predict his midrange game will hit Bosh level within 2 years.
He can rebound and when he gains 10 more pounds, he will be able to box out and be a guy to give a team 11-12 rebounds a game.
He can pass.
