Udonis Haslem says 2012 championship better than 2006
South Florida Sun-Sentinel:
Udonis Haslem stood on a bench in the pandemonium of the Heat locker room early Friday morning, a savory blend of sweat, beer and champagne still dripping off of him.
The veteran forward had reached the pinnacle before, the only Heat player other than Dwyane Wade who had. But this was the one Haslem waited a decade for, the Miami kid celebrating a championship at home.
And he didn't hesitate in saying the feeling topped that of the first Heat title in 2006.
"Way better, 10 times better. Just because of so much that we've been through, so much that we sacrificed, so much on the line. We stuck together, we pulled it out," Haslem said.
