The part when he said Badger was discussing Babylon 5 was hysterical. Did anyone else catch that?

Can't believe this show is almost over. Simply amazing. I've tried watching something else but can't get it to stick. I tried watching Mad Men and thought the pilot was good but the second episode literally put me to sleep. Trying out the Wire now because everyone and their mom talks about how its the GOAT

You should definitely get into the wire. Really is one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Your the only idiot that says he's 100% liable for the plane crash. So if Walt prevents Jane's death, does the crash happen? NO, it does not. If the writers said that Walt indirectly made it happen, then he indirectly made it happen and your wrong. Stop trying to act right when the actual writers say it.

What evidence is there of Hank's non involvement? Think how hard that would be to disprove.

If Jesse goes down the full cooperation road, I will be interested to see what happens with Saul.

I could see him doing this, then reflecting on it and coming back for his last hurrah, though.

Cover his own ass for what? If his family flips on him, he's lost everything. He doesn't give a shit. He says he's trying to fight the cancer, but its obvious he feels like his days are almost over. Think about it.

What exactly matters to him right now?
1. Making sure his family is taken care of when he's gone i.e. the money
2. Spending time with his family, especially before he dies.
3. Making sure his kids don't find out about Heisenberg.
4. His inflated ego

If Skylar flips on him, the money is gone, the kids find out who their dad really is, and he's caught, which kills his ego in the process. The only thing he'd really have left is cutting a deal with the DEA where he turns himself in and is able to get visits from his family. That probably means alot more to him then disappearing to some random part of the country that he's not familiar with at all just to die all by himself just cause he doesn't want to spend some months in jail.

Obviously he skips town for some reason, but this is why I don't think there's any scenario where he leaves his family behind.

I think if they prove that Hank wasn't involved, then the rest of the confession would also be thrown out too, because who is to say that the rest of it wasn't also a lie.

First episode was great IMO. Avon Barksdale seems like a badass although his punk cousin is fvcking annoying. Hopefully this continues to be great and interesting (unlike Mad Men )

The first half of the season really is just a set up for the main story so it moves a little slow. Sort of like the first season of Breaking Bad.

When everything picks up though, brace yourself. This is a much deeper show than Breaking Bad. It's more conceptual in a sense.
