Saul's character is more effective in small doses. Anything more is overkill and his act will get stale fast.

It's going to be a prequel series, before Walt. I think it will work. Lawyers deal with a lot of interesting people, especially a guy like Saul

There's tons of lawyer shows, but this one will take a different approach because Saul is a different type of lawyer.

Imagine him getting a case in which he has to defend a criminal he knows is guilty. So he does whatever shenanigans to set him free, and the bizarre ensues. And from time to time he'll come across a moral dilema on some episodes.

So imagine he has to defend Gopher from a drug charge. And in the midst of this, he gets involved in some other deeper shit. Now he has to fix this issue and deal with his personal life which I'm very interested in. What is his personal life like anyway? is he married? is he divorced (very likely) he has to juggle both.

I'm confident the writers will come up with tons of great cases for him the possibilities are endless. Anything from traffic ticket, to prostitutes and homicide charges… for all your needs "you better call Saul".

Oh man…. please make this show happen!!!

These are obviously taken from their online shorts, but imagine full blown episodes on some of these.

I tend to agree with this hypothetically. It's sort of like if they did a spin off of Seinfeld that was just Kramer. It's just more than that character can handle.

But I do feel like Saul is a character that can be reigned in. He is very frantic which is what makes him most palatable in small doses, but remember we really only see him in relation to Jesse and Walt. I'm looking forward to seeing his demeanor change depending on the working relationship he has at that particular moment. And Bob Odenkirk is a talented guy. I'm glad to see he'll get a shot at getting this to work. And I'll certainly give it a shot.

SPOILERS.

Not the script. It's someone's thoughts on what's going to happen.

Perfectly believable, but I hope it doesn't happen that way.

Aside from NFL/NBA, there will be virtually no reason for me to even watch tv after this show ends on September 29.

Mike Ehrmantraut is gonna be in the next episode. Obviously in a flashback scene.

Saul's mostly comedy and fast paced in BB but in his own show I'm sure things will be slowed down. Not to mention there's so much we don't know about him, so there's depth to be explored. Would be cool if he started out in a different city too..love how ABQ is a character in the show.

A show about Saul could be a great dark comedy. Would watch for sure
