The other poster is right. Plus, Walt was going to poison her before if until she came up with the plan to go global with the meth distribution.

He had already swapped the Riacin laced packet out before she sat down. When she goes through the sugar holder on the table there's only one packet of the artificial sweetener. Then when he comes over from the counter and sits down she asks how he found her and he recites how she's a creature of habit and she's sat at the same spot on the same day at the same time...

That's what I figured, he knew where she sits every time and removed all stevia except the one which he put the ricin into.

He probably killed her because she'd do everything to continue making the blue meth and she's known to put hits on people so he couldn't leave her as a loose end.

That is why he killed her. Now that she is dead, there is no more blue meth. The show had such a great ending. no loose ends. i just wish that walt didn't die.
season 5 was beyond spectacular. i'm so glad that badger and the other guy were in the last episode. i hope the new show better call saul features some walter and jesse cameos.

one loose end is what is jesse going to do now? he should have said "i'm going to adopt brock and take care of him", or something else so we know his next step. not knowing jesse's next move is a loose end.

If somebody else takes the table or she takes a different table, he simply walks over, says "Excuse me" and takes the ricin packet back before re-planning how to kill her. He also probably chose to kill her knowing that she is willing to put hits on people and is in a partnership with the Nazis, so he sees her as just as guilty as them.

So I watched the waiter closely because I couldnt figure out what he sat down on the table before her tea. It was a spoon, so the pack was on the table all along. Now what you say I can surely see.

One question is how did he get the ricin in the pack that was unopened? At the end of the day it doesnt matter or take away from the finale, season or series. Its just one of those things now that I noticed I just want to know.

Adopting Brock would've made no sense at all. Brock's mom was killed presumably months before this. He's either in a foster home or with other family members. I'm pretty sure Andrea had a mother or grandma in town, who was the one that called her and informed her of Tomas' murder. Not to mention no adoption agency would've considered Jesse as fit to take care of a child.

As far as what Jesse does, its a loose end, but I don't think its that big of a deal. Its not a loose end in the sense that he's out of the life for good now. No one in the series can drag him back in (Walt, Todd, Lydia, Nazis all dead, Saul is gone, Huell is scared shitless, and Skylar and Marie have no motivation to bring him up) and he's not on the DEA's radar (Hank and Gomez were the only ones that knew about him and they're dead). He is broke, but having all that money may have been a detriment to him anyway (his own mental state and it would arise suspicion from other people). Honestly, he could be homeless for the rest of his life, and I think you could call that a happy ending for him when you compare it to what he was going through in the drug game. I don't think we can ever expect him to ever truly be happy. He's alive and he has closure. That's really the best you can expect for him.

I guess one thing that might be considered a loose end is Skylar and Marie's relationship. It seems like they are okay. But how would Marie feel about Skylar using the coordinates for Hank's location in a deal with the DEA and also lying to Marie on the phone about not knowing Walt was there?

Skylar would simply tell Marie that Walt showed up after their phone conversation. It seemed clear that Marie is of the opinion that Hank is dead because of Walt and that Skylar was an innocent victim in all of it.

What if the Nazis haven't destroyed the confession tape?

I imagine it's some common sweetner you can get anywhere. He got a packet, filled it at home and brought it in. They just don't use a common brand name because non one is going to allow them to poison their brand.
