I think it was an organic way to put things together because Gus really had no reason to poison Brock but who could stand to gain from everything.......
I think the scene where Jesse sees Walt singing in the shower after Todd kills the kid on the motorbike has a lot to do with it as well. Its really makes a lot of sense when you see how on-the-edge Jesse has been in general and especially around Walt, and the things Jesse notices about Walt over the last season or so. At this point, I don't think Jesse needs to be 100% sure.

Like Joker said in The Dark Knight, sometimes all it takes is a little push.

I just thought out about it some more, and maybe it doesn't make perfect sense, because I forgot, as the story goes, all the clear evidence is supposed to point to Brock getting poisoned on his own as just a freak accident and neither Gus nor Walt intentionally poisoning him. So why should Jesse suspect foul play at all? I guess in this case, he accused Walt of having Saul have Huell pick pocket him before with the ricin only to be convinced otherwise and he confirmed it for sure with the weed bag. I guess its understandable that he wasn't just willing to attribute it to a coincidence and that was enough for him to come with that conclusion (combined with the fact that he knows how crazy Walt is now). Just wasn't as clear and transparent as I originally thought.

I think he made the connection that Walt manipulated him, which set him off. Not that he necessarily poisoned Brock. Though at that point assuming that Walt may have done the poisoning as well isn't a reach.

Chekhov's gun.

I know it's been explained in the thread already, but I still don't understand how Jessie came to the realization of Walt poisoned Brock. So he becomes aware that the ricin cigarette got lifted and he jumps to the conclusion that Walt was behind Brock almost dying? I know I'm missing something...

What I love about this show is that even when it's predictable, it can still make your jaw drop. Obviously Walt wasn't going to confess to what he did. If for anything, there's 5 episodes left in the series. Then it was easy deduce from his conversation (still not willing to give up the kids) at the guac restaurant that he was going to try and turn the tables on Hank. Still, Hank and Marie's watching of the confession tape was an incredible scene.

Per usual, great pace to the episode.

When they showed Walt's house abandoned, it didn't look burned. I have to go back and look.

I'm listening to a breaking bad recap podcast, and they brought up something interesting. In the flashback when Gus and his partner visit the Cartel and Gus's partner is killed, Don Eladio says to Gus afterwards that the only reason he's alive is because of who he is but he should understand he's not in Chile anymore. Basically saying that even the Cartel wouldn't kill Gus because of his Chilean contacts. Well, Walt killed Gus, so it makes you wonder if Walt gets a visit from Gus's old Chilean associates.

It wasn't. I saw an interesting theory that what if what Jessie is pouring methylamine?

Although the way he was soaking the house and with his demeanor, it would seem he had the intention of destruction. I'm positive the house doesn't get burnt, tho, in my dream world he burns it down with Flynn inside eating breakfast.

One thing I will criticize them for is when Huell lifted the ricin cigarette from Jesse. Wasn't the ricin cigarette in Jesse's cigarette pack? But Jesse still had the pack. So Huell was somehow able to pick-pocket the ricin cigarette out of Jesse's cigarette pack, right? Isn't that incredibly far-fetched? For him to not only pick-pocket a cigarette out of the pack, but specifically the ricin cigarette? How is that even possible to strategically accomplish? Picking out the weedbag was completely believable, but the ricin cigarette?

Remember Jesse had the ricin cigarette flipped up so he'd no he wouldn't smoke it. Walt also knew that so he could have fed that information to Saul. Lifting the cigarettes isn't hard putting them back in though my be the plot hole.

Huh? The cigarettes nor the pack were in sight though. I think we are assuming that Huell lifted the cigarette out of the pack, which weren't in plain sight. How is that even strategically possible? He pick pocketted a cigarette out of a pack then out of the pocket. Completely different then just pick pocketting a whole weed bag or even switching cigarette packs like DRose suggested.

My predictions on the next episodes... Jessie finds Walt's son in the house and tells him what his dad has done, and that will be his payback for poisoning the kid too.Todd and Nazi crew kill Jesse. He's a loose cannon and may be a risk to rat on Todd's shooting of Drew Sharp. They won't stand for that. Walt won't take too kindly to anyone harming Jesse. He'll try to take Todd and his crew down.

I don't think anyone is home. There were no cars in the driveway when Jesse pulled up.
