comming from you i dont know what to think.

regular season award dont mean a damn thing compared to championships, specially if in those championships you won finals mvp proving you were the best player in that team.

I take Brady over manning for the same reason I take Montana over Marino. While Marino/Manning put up the more gaudy numbers, Montana/Brady always come up big when it matters most, in the playoffs. In the end though, if you give me any of these guys i'm not complaining.

Deion Branch has the same resume. Reg season stats arent great but he has good postseason numbers + 3 rings & a SB MVP. How many WR's are you taking Branch over? How bout Santana Moss? You gonna make an argument that Branch > S.Moss?

You and the Rockets fan need to stick to basketball. Please.

NE has 3 SBs and Tom only has 1 SB MVP. Where did the other 2 SB MVPs go to?

Tom has statistical accomplishments to go along with his playoff success.

5 straight years of 3500+ yards
60%+ completion rate every year
Nearly 2:1 TD-INT ratio every year

Career playoff line:

COMP-ATT-YARDS-TD-INT
274 452 2985 19 8

12-1 Record, 3 Superbowl Titles, Superbowl MVP

Divisonal/Championship/Superbowl: 12 TD's to 7 INTS

Defense has been a mainstay in titles being won. When you rank importance, defense comes up first in baseball, football and basketball. You never heard an argument about how great offenses winning SBs.

Stl Rams were a high powered offensive power during the regular season. Greatest show on Turf. In the SB? Rams DEFENSE is what won them the game not thier great offense which was known throughout the reg season. It was a TACKLE that sealed the victory for the Rams not a TD to Faulk.

Smarten up. Great hitting, beautiful offensive stats can be shut down, negated, made to look POOR by good pitching. While you're hitting 60HRs, driving in a million runs with a ridiculous batting avg. You face good pitching in a playoff series and your bat looks limp. Lets act like we know here.

Colts 2 playoff wins were a direct result of thier DEFENSE. Not thier offense.

If I wanna set meaningless regular season records and then choke in the playoffs year after year, I'd pick Manning.

If I don't care about finesse and just care about winning games & most importantly championships, I take Brady.

The Chiefs gave them that game. They kept running right at the line and Indy just packed it in. Totally pathetic. I didn't catch the Ravens game so I won't comment.

And then when you grab Mannings statistical accomplishments it doesnt become fair anymore.
