And probably replaced by Ed Stafanski who is a terrible GM in his own right.

But with a team like the one we have right now, and with the management group we are ultimately run by, it's such a major gray area to define "failure." For most teams, "success" = contending. For ours? Well in the 7 years BC has been here, we have never been a contender. Most GM's don't last that long with a similar resume for a specific team. But MLSE likes the guy, win or lose. If we win enough for the 8th seed, they are happy because he turned the team around and put people in those seats. If we suck and lose, it's because we are restructuring/rebuilding and it's all a part of the process. He's our president and GM and he has a lot of pull within this organization. And I think that regardless of his resume he's in part kept around because of his name and his history outside of our organization.

BC sucks, period. Only 2 good moves he's made as a GM are drafting/signing Bargnani and picking up D. Casey. And those were both low risk moves.

The management team was divided on BC last time his contract was renewed, that's why he only received 2 years. The thing is, as much as the business people like him, he has been costing the team money. Attendance is down, tv ratings are down and there have been no playoffs. That equates to trouble if you are the man in charge.

The only way stefanski gets the lead job is as interim if BC is canned mid-season.
