So BC out-thinks himself and we get no Nash but we do get the consolation prize poison pill contract. I wonder how Doug Smith will spin this positively. Of course getting Nash would have been a waste of both his tallent, career and our rebuild for the next 3 years, but what a fail on BC's part regardless.
Lowry, a multi-year $12 million contract is headed your way!
I personally wouldn't of cared if Nash didn't sign with us if it wasnt for the Feilds signing. I liked the prospect of having dragic more, based on age.
I like Dragic but BC would likely offer him something like 3 years 28 mill and say it's a bargain because we were gonna give Nash 36.
Exactly. Expect BC to cover up his mess by overpaying Lin or Dragic. Two completely unproven PG's. I don't want either. Would rather stick it out with Calderon and his expiring contract and tank it up for one more year.
Maybe we can wait to see if NO signs Gordon and see if they will trade us Rivers for Ross/Calderon or something. We drafted Ross as a compliment to Nash instead of Rivers because he handled the ball too much. Let's see if we can correct that mistake.

gotta say, i don;t post here often, but i've pretty much agreed with molson on his posts over the years... i was all over the nash signing, but now, i agree, stick with calderon, let the team suck and just take the cap space next year. this fields thing is a disaster. now we have even MORE bench players....
