I think that Indy will want to hold on to Hibbert. He's a big that could be a cornerstone for years to come. You don't give up on a big.
If they had to choose between George and Hibbert I think they'd rather give Hibbert the big bucks. And Paul George in Phoenix would be really great. He's long and athletic, would really be a great player under Gentry.
Gambo (the guy who broke the Nash deal) says that Suns offered EG the max because they knew NO would match. Suns office was trying to take some of the heat off of last season's Warrick Hedo Childress and the fact that we traded Nash to our division rival, LA Lakers. Does not expect NO not to match and does not expect there to be a S&T, Phoenix doesn't have the parts to make a trade like that happen (most likely).
Novak, Thompson, Ilyasova off the market, re-upped with their teams respectively..
Anyone really expect us to trade one or two of these guys; Gortat/Dudley/Marshall, in an attempt to get Gordon?
I wouldn't want to see Gortat go, he's turned out to be the steal of that Magic trade, Dudley is coming into his own, and Marshall, hell we barely drafted him?! What gives?
Side note; I just read that Brewer, Watson and Korver are getting released from the Bulls, any interest in any of them?
Korver is streaky but when he's on he's on, but he plays good team defense and I personally have wanted to see him in a Suns uni for awhile..

Doesn't look like we're doing a S&T. UFA cannot be traded for six months after being signed. If the trade was gonna happen, it would have happened yesterday. No way NOLA isn't gonna match.

He's a restricted free agent. You have to make an offer and his team has a chance to match and retain his rights.
Today Lon Babby was on local radio, said he hopes NOLA doesn't but they are prepared to go in other directions if the do. Radio hosts say rumor has it they will make a big play for OJ Mayo
Pacers also appear to be opening up space for Mayo.
I've heard this all along. I wouldn't want the Suns to over pay for Mayo, but I think he'd be a good plan B for the Suns. After him, there is really just get something cheap/serviceable and hope to get something next off season.
