Default Lakers want Nash

Reported by David Aldridge on www.nba.com

My buddy of mine, DK, mentioned nearing the age of 40, players are more susceptible to career ending injuries. I would agree with that. The thought of adding Nash though as far as basketball goes, is still a nice entertaining thought.

What would adding Nash do for this team?

I THINK EVERYONE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THAT, BUT IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN, SON. IF ALL THESE TRADE RUMORS COME TO PASS, AND BYNUM, GASOL & MWP ARE TRADED THE LAKERS SHOULD LOOK A LITTLE SOMETHING LIKE THIS, DEPENDING ON WHICH TRADES AND PICK-UPS YOU WANT TO SEE HAPPEN AND THIS IS JUST MINE:

PG: NASH
LOWERY
ROY

SG:BRYANT
K. MARTIN
MAYO

SF: RICHARDSON
BEASLEY
BARNES

PF: SCOLA
McROBERTS
A. BLATCHE

C: HOWARD
HILL

KEEP IN MIND, I MAY BE A LITTLE DERANGED.

keep in mind, lakers would be getting nash without trading any players (hopefully). that said, if things don't work out, lakers can turn around and trade nash. lakers are in salary cap hell already, so fck it, bring on nash imo.

Still would rather have Lowry, best PG that finds other ways to contribute without the ball in his hands all of the time and can actually defend Westbrook and Chris Paul.

mutha fcuking Suns owner blocked it

Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine

Sources briefed on talks say Lakers' reported S-and-T push for Nash blocked to date by Suns brass. Can't stomach dealing him to old rival

Yet another trade that won't happen.

Im hearing talks of beasley to the suns as well.

at this point its tough to say the lakers will be competitive next year. They would have to get Howard and flip Gasol for depth

as long as kobe is playing for the lakers...they will be competitve...no matter what

even if they keep their 3 main guys..kobe/pau/bynum all they need is pretty good bench players....right now the market is after marquee players....role players will be next so patience my friend

they can still get
Rashard lewis/jamison
nick young/brandon rush
m pietrus to back kobe up

Lakers have 2 targets beasley & Rush....their teams are interested in J Hill...so that gives the lakers to S&T and keep the Mini MLE intact...

so with what we need we will have options....

to HIT a home run like Howard/Nash or whoever...that might be difficult.....
