I think he'll finish inside the top 25 barring injury. Rams down every week he's the go to guy, racks up grabs. Very strong WR3 IMO barring injury.

Nicks is 22nd overall
Points per game is a much more important stat, to me, than overall points. Regardless, we'll see where they stand at the end of the season.

I had the Eli/Nicks combo last year and I rode them (along with Jimmy Graham) all the way to the title game. He was just about as consistently good as a FF player can be... And, we are three games into 2012 and he's sat out one.

Give me Nicks all day over any of the guys you noted. We'll see how it pans out.

Points per game so far:

Hakeem Nicks 17.2
Miles Austin 14.4
Stevie Johnson 13.9

Amendola isn't top 15, 22-25 is more appropriate, but I can't trade him for Jackson right now, not that it's unfair, but I'm looking for more depth and weighing options right now, lol.

Nah, every report out there was saying Wells was fine as of early this morning, many articles said "minor turf toe injury", then I go on Yahoo about 30 minutes ago and read that he's on the 8 week IR.

I guess I'm going to have to go out and try getting a waiver steal. I think Bilal Powell could be a sleeper, Shonn Greene hasn't been overly great.

Might be iffy this week against Miami's solid run D, but going forward, yeah. He's getting all the carries now. At worst, he's a top flex option.

Cardinals have bottom 3 run blocking line in the NFL. He's a nice flex in plus match ups but doesn't look playable other then that.

Do you rate him above any of these?

Foster
RR
LeSean
DMC
MJD
Petereson
Lynch
Charles
Gore
Matthews
Murray
Ridley
Doug
FJAX
Spiller
Bradshaw
Reggie Bush
Willis
Benson
Sproles

Trent
Demarco

Hes a flex at best IMO.

obviously overall points > Points per game

so if Nicks is done for the year right now he is better?

if a guy only plays 8 games he is no good...how many points you get out of a player over the entire year is all that matters

He's absolutely in the same league as a bunch of the lower guys on that list. Guess we'll have to wait and see how he does. I fully expect RB2 numbers from him after this Miami game.

Obviously, this has to be judged on a case by case basis. LaGarrette Blount and Brandon Jacobs outscored Darren McFadden last year. Dexter McCluster only scored one less point. There is no argument whatsoever to be made that those players were more or just as valuable. I'll take an elite player for 8 games over a solid/mediocre one 10 times out of 10. When the elite player goes down, you realize you can replace him in your lineup and you're not stuck with a zero right?
