-pt-... Our game is going to end up being very close more than likely. If you go by the projected points of the guys we have left, you would win by something like 4 points.
Don't like the way Sproles is starting off, though. Usually when he is this uninvolved in the offense early on, it is something about the gameplan that doesn't involve much of him and it lasts the whole game.
EDIT: As I was typing this... BAM!
That was big for me. I know I'm basically relegated to being a spoiler at this point, but I'm too competitive to stop caring.
Well, that meaningless TD pass at least made a monumental Monday night comeback possible for -pt-. He needs Vernon Davis to have his best night of the season, but stranger things have happened and he is talented enough to do it.
Can't complain about this game though. Two of my really consistent guys this season, Demariyus and Sproles, both had terrific games.
I like my chances but it isn't over yet. At this point, I just don't want to finish in last place.
He was the highest scorer in all of FF going into tonight...above RG3
Now because of this I'm going to start Gabbert over him next week...fck you Brees
I'm of the same mind with Rivers. I may drop him this week and I plan on starting Fitzpatrick next week. He has just been a complete bum outside of a few weeks this year. No consistency whatsoever and, in several cases, he was directly responsible for my loss. He scored 6 points today... SIX!
Both of us had sort of a rough week, but I'm used to it. I look at my lineup and shake my head. There is no way this team should be this bad.
Oh, and Jermichael Finley is a complete turd. You'd think with Jordy and Jennings both out, he would ascend to a major target. Nope... 3.4 points. Awful.
are you "seeing" yet or are you still set in your stance on Miles?
No, my stance hasn't changed. Nicks is admittedly having an awful season and the fact that Austin is only averaging 2.19 more PPG tells me that Miles is still absolutely not a WR1... Because Nicks sure as hell is nowhere close to a WR1 at this point. He's become more of a flex option with this inconsistent season, although I still see him closing the season strong like he always does given his health improves.
