Most diehard Cavs fans that I know love Austin. Different strokes, I guess. I think he's great. There was a time many years ago when he would annoy me occasionally, but I feel like he's gotten better at preserving his sayings for the right moments.

Plus, it doesn't hurt that James is gone so we don't have to constantly have to hear about "L-Train" (terrible nickname).

Oh yeah... Austin was a ridiculous college player. He had all the potential in the world to be a great scorer in the NBA, but injuries sidetracked his career. Even with the injuries, he was still pretty good.

I love Carr's commentary. You can tell he's doing it because he loves the game/team/city and not just because he's a retired player looking for something to do.

He's always so proud of the players, it always reminds me of someone's grandpa/old uncle watching them play

Huh? Antoine Carr is way more obscure than Austin Carr. I don't know anyone who has some idea of college basketball that hasn't heard of Austin Carr before.

That's the way I feel. He has sincere love for the Cavs' organization and it's reciprocated. Pretty rare thing in professional sports.

i feel like zeller is the one exception. tyler is probably the softest guy on the team, and i get the impression that it really irritates AC that zeller allows himself get pushed around.

Zeller did drive him up a wall last year, but I also still got the impression that he wants Tyler to succeed. It just wasn't in the cards last year.
