Default Cause for concern or no big deal?

Now this source has not been confirmed so I personally take it with a grain of salt BUT neither were the sources that said Melo asked for D'Antoni to be fired.

I saw something like this yesterday.

Lin has alot to learn about the nba, and this is one of them.

The knicks were not gonna offer a contract because they wanted him to set his own price.

His agent got in the middle of a handshake agreement.

His deal looks as if Grunwald wrote it for Houston, especially with the team opt out after three.

I don't even think the report is true. It just points out how ruthless and irresponsible the Daily News is. But nobody will say anything until a guy like Lin feels the wrath of irresponsible journalism. DN has been making up BS about the Knicks all year and causing unnecessary headaches.

The Lin deal actually could have been worse. So in actuality, the Knicks did the right thing. If they didn't let him field other offers, they probably would have given him the max allowable. With this, Houston laid out a deal, with an option, and we matched it. Now Lin doesn't get the option of upping the ante for an idiotic team like Toronto who clearly doesn't give a damn lol

The deal he got from Houston is more than we could have given him.

The third year is backloaded, yet the fourth year evens it out by it being a team option.

The most the knicks could have offered is 4/24
