Griffin and Evans have to be in the top 2.
Both had rookie years that only a select few have throughout NBA history have achieved.

Griffin: 22 ppg 12 rpg 4 apg
Evans: 20 ppg 5 rpg 5 apg

Melo and Lebron were just really hyped Wade was more efficient and got to the second round of the playoffs while taking a 60 win Pacers team to 6 games.

Kyrie came off an 11 game college season and no training camp but still put up 19/5/4 and almost had a 50/40/90 while being the most clutch player in the NBA. He missed a lot of games tho

I'm still confused by 2004. Does that mean the rookie classes from 2004-2012 or the 2004 season? And if it means the 2004 season it should mean 2003-2004 which would've been the seasons for LeBron, Wade, Carmelo, and Bosh.

And how about that rookie class and their rookie seasons? Dayum...

LeBron: 20.9 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 5.4 apg, 1.6 spg, .417 FG%
Anthony: 21.0 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 2.8 apg, 1.2 spg, .426 FG%
Wade: 16.2 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 4.5 apg, 1.4 spg, .465 FG%
Bosh: 11.5 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.4 bpg, .459 FG%

And the fifth member of the All-Rookie 1st Team:

Kirk Hinrich: 12.0 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 6.8 apg, 1.3 spg, .386 FG%, .390 3P%

Didn't realize Hinrich put up 12-3.5-7-1 as a rookie. He only shot 39% but shot just a shade under 40% from three.

You almost forget that Okafor, statiscially, had as good of a rookie season (if not better) than Howard. Unfortunately, that's ended up being one of his two or three best seasons so far, while Howard improved every year. Of course that might have something to do with Okafor being 22 his rookie year and Howard 19.

retard detected.

Kyrie impressed me a lot last season... and all Griffin did was dunk...how is that impressive? I mean ya...it was cool for the highlights, but Kyrie was far more impressive.

LeBron and company are classified as 2003 for you idiots (KG).

^^^He put up those numbers in 30 minutes per game too... Far lower than anyone else on the list. And, the low minutes were directly attributable to the condensed schedule. He also had a 21.49 PER... Third highest rookie PER for a guard in history (Jordan and CP3 were only guards higher).

He was also in the Top 3 in the league in fourth quarter scoring.

Unbelievable season.

Spoken like someone who doesn't actually watch Griffin play. You don't average 22/12/4 in your rookie season if "all you do is dunk."
