I wouldn't be surprised if they could get Harrington for the pick and cap filler. There must be a few other expendeble vets like that who are decent. I'm sure the Jailblazers have some ok players they're hoping to throw away. Don't they want to bail out on Darius Miles? Or Mo Williams from the Bucks? Those are all decent players that will translate to wins this year, whereas a draft pick will not.
Mo Williams would be perfect. What do you think the Bucks would want with the pick?
I think the Bucks would draft Novak, who would instantly be one of the best shooting big men in the league. He would come off the bench, and give the Bucks the flexibility to trade for an athletic starting PF who isn't neccesarily a shooter.
The Lakers aren't under the cap though (I think), so they'd have to send a player back as well. I wouldn't really care who they send, but it would have to be one of Bynum, Walton, or Cook. If I'm wrong and the Lakers are under the cap, that's unneccesary.
If Marcus Banks is going to sign with the Lakers, then they will draft an athletic wing who can defend and shoot the three. That athletic wing is James White. He had a very impressive second workout for the Lakers. Phil, Cupcake and Bussboy liked what they saw.
