Sweet. Blue cheese and beef makes a great combo. I go through phases where I want rich flavors (blue cheese, truffles, etc.) and then there are times when I just want American cheese and ketchup.

Lately it's been 96/4 lean beef, the meat tossed with a healthy serving of Thai Peanut Sauce, topped with a grilled pineapple slice, boston lettuce, and garlic aioli I make.

i mix it up a lot, but the patty definitely has Worcestershire in it and whatever fresh herbs i have (generally either oregano or basil). I might add oats or breadcrumbs, depending on the fat content of the meat. might add an egg or two as well. toppings are generally grilled portabella, spinach, asiago cheese, avocado and horseradish mustard. but, again, its highly mutable depending on what I feel like and what the ground meat is.

American cheese (yes, there are better but this is great for burgers)
bacon (2 strips)
pickles (cut length wise, 2 strips)
tomato (one wheel)
lettuce (just one leaf)
onions (two rings)
ketchup
mustard (1/3 of the ketchup portion)
mayonnaise (just a hint)

Ass Dan keeps it basic, why fakk with greatness?

Do people still put pickles on burgers? I remember them on happy meals when I was younger.

I like hot stuff so I usually make my fire burger.

Start with a 93/7 lean beef, mix in minced garlic, salt, pepper, crushed red peppers and franks hot sauce. While that grills, I saute some onions and jalapenos in the same pan with a little butter.

Top burger with onion/jalapeno mix, add lettuce, tomato, yellow mustard and sriracha on a toasted bun.

ground beef, onions, salt, pepper, egg, bread crumbs and yoshida sauce and you got yourself a good teriyaki burger.
