Arkansas giving up 21 pionts to Jacksonville State in the 1st half...tha f*ck was that? Gave them short field a couple of times off junior high mistake turnovers, or it'd probably be 49-7 at half because the offense is moving the ball at will, as they should.

Anyway, it's scary what Saban has built at Alabama. It's reminiscent of what Pete Carroll had built at USC in the early and mid-2000s. Except Saban coached teams will be better disciplined and won't lose one game a year to some shit team that has no business being on the field with them.

The SEC should start their conference play in week 1 and do an Arkansas Alabama game or and lsu Alabama game week 1 at cowboys stadium or something. Would be way more entertaining.

michigan total offense: 34 yards
bama's 2nd string RB: 25 yards

the biggest play michigan has been able to pull off is 9 yards. bama has six 10+ yard plays

I think the 12 should just be for this game. Amy other opponent isn't as good as Alabama. Maybe like 7 or 8 per game

Idk who makes these matchups or even these rankings. Michigan has no business being number 8 in that nation or even playing Alabama in week 1.

Agreed on 8. I felt mid-late teens was appropriate.

But, this game was scheduled at least 2-3 years ago. UM's AD at the time probably thought Rich Rod would have gotten it together by then.

And Bama is about to destroy after that second TD. In another year? probably a decent game. in two? a great game. this year? maybe a respectable demolishing? Oh well, I'm pretty sure we play Bama again next year again, so that should be good.

Dude, as long as Saban is there, Alabama probably won't be any worse than this. This is supposed to be a down year. They lost pretty much their entire defense and Trent Richardson.

As long as Saban is getting to recruit to Alabama, this is going to be the norm. And every two or three years or so, when they've got some two and three year starters, Alabama will be "Holy shit, how in the hell is anyone going to beat them?" scary good.

Oh I know. I'm just saying Hoke has had one true and full recruiting class so far. The Michigan name is stained from that terrible Rich Rod era, and right now the next class is looking like at least top 10, probably 5, and we'll get better.

USC vs. Alabama seems like a given at this point. Should be the norm for the next decade with their level of recruiting with a sprinkling of LSU and a few others like Ohio State and Texas bounce back... (I'm a big believer of Urban Meyer)....

make sense but still wayyy too early to make this sort of prediction. usc's depth is a real concern. a couple key injuries and they'll be in big trouble. they also have to beat oregon twice which is no easy task. utah will be a sneaky challenge as well. usc will have to go undefeated imo. their SOS isn't all that...

I agree with Alabama being in the opening night espn game every year with their recruiting, but is USC the team for next year? They're gonna lose Barkley so I don't know if they can be the team.

I agree with ohio state with urban Meyer being the answer for them. I'm gonna prematurely say Alabama vs Ohio State next year.

I know this is speculative right now but I took a look at the AP 25. Is it just me or are the teams really unimpressive sounding?

USC-Alabama-LSU seems like the triumvirate but after that you have -

4. Oklahoma - overrated every year
5. Oregon - lost Darron Thomas and James, a huge chunk of their offense
6. Georgia - Can't really say
7. FSU - HUGE bust last year but I think they'll bounce back for a good season
8. Michigan - lol.
9. South Carolina - TBD in my eyes
10. Arkansas - I thought they'd be ferocious again with Wilson back but why did Jacksonville score so much.....
11. WVU - Looked good. But again, giving up that much to a lower team? VERY interested to see how they do in the Big 12.
