Florida State DE Brandon Jenkins is out for the year with an injured foot.
This is a huge blow for the Noles defense.
Also, Florida State freshman DE (and one of the top recruits in the country last year) Mario Edwards is upset with his role and skipped the team meal on Friday and didn't show up to the game on Saturday.
nnnooooo, just saw it. now teams will be able to likely double werner. god damnit....
about edwards...dude knew the d-line was stacked so i don't see how he can complain. poetically enough, due to jenkins' injury, noles might have to un-redshirt him and throw him out there. he better show up after running his mouth

neither the hokies or YJ's have found success running the ball so far. i know v-tech has a mostly new o-line and are breaking it in but i still didn't see them struggling like this. if they don't fix that, it's going to make playaction a lot harder. thomas has also been kinda inaccurate most of the night. 10-7 G-tech with 11 minutes left...didn't expect their defense to be this good
welp, thomas just showed off his cannon arm. slinged it about 45 yards and made it look easy. he's the only QB that has more arm strength than barkley imo

Aside: What do you guys think of Logan Thomas as an NFL QB?
I keep seeing him ranked near the top of boards and I just don't see it. Like a homeless man's Josh Freeman, maybe.
he needs to work on his accuracy and touch for sure. from what i've seen, i don't see him as a first round QB. he's big and fast but he's pretty raw. still, teams have been drafting guys like that in the first round the past few years. tannehill's pretty raw and miami took him at #17. watch oakland take him, lol
Taylor Martinez looks a million times better throwing the ball. The offense looked good, but I don't quite know what to think of the defense yet. Some poor tackling at times led to points. And well, the injuries of course sucked. Burkhead got injured in the 1st and sat out the rest of the game. 2 other players got injured, too.
"According to Adam Rittenberg and Brian Bennett of ESPN's Big Ten Blog, Burkhead is listed on this week's depth chart as the starter, and coach Bo Pelini believes the MCL sprain his I-back suffered against the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles isn't serious."

He is upset with his roll after 1 game against a cupcake with another cupcake this week? Just what did he think he would be doing?
