Anyone see Lattimore's injury? I don't think I'm gonna be watching any vids of it after reading what happened to his leg. Poor guy.
not fun to watch. just absolutely brutal...one of the worst injuries i've ever seen. felt sick when his leg flopped around like a rubber chicken leg.
espn apparently had no issue showing it over and over again...reports are unconfirmed but they're out there. rumors are that he tore his ACL, MCL, PCL, LCL, broke femur and patella.
No way does Alabama, ND or K-State lose the rest of this season. Freakin' BCS. Oregon's going to be left on the outside looking in. Wish they could use the playoff system THIS year.
Of course, that's assuming Oregon wins out, and that's still a tough task.
But IF they do, they're easily the better team out of ND and K-State. Oregon would beat either of those teams by 20.
But if ND and bama win out, there's no way the powers that be in college football passes up a ND/Bama title game.

If that's the case, his career is probably done. Wow, very sad.
Pine for those old days. Don't bad mouth my Sooners.
Pine for the old days? Husker fans were thrilled to get out of the Callahan years and to rebuild with Pelini. We just moved up to #21 and have a good shot at making it to the Rose Bowl. Just need to limit all the mistakes and get our defense going.

It's confirmed to be a dislocated knee. Shaun Livingston did come back from his, so we'll see.

Don't mind me. Rough night after our loss to Notre Dame.
No ill will. I actually dislike both teams and would have preferred for the Sooners to win.
Do you think Nebraska is on the right track and Pellini is that coach or do you think he is laying the ground work and it will be the next coach that leads you guys back to the place Nebraska is normally at. MNC's and being preseason top 5 type teams in the discussion?
Speaking on injuries, Maryland's starter, back-up, back-up to their back-up, and back-up to their back-up to their back-up QBs are all out for the season.

I'm high on Pelini. The offense has been explosive. The defense has struggled, but I think we have the youngest DC in the nation and it's his first time at DC at any level. We have plenty of young talent. We're only going to lose 2 starting OL, our TEs and Burkhead (who's missed quite a bit of time due to injury) on offense. Our 3 RBs behind Burkhead have looked impressive. We lose a lot on defense, but they haven't exactly played that well this season anyways.
